Alta Vista - A Business Park by MIDA

MIDA is in the process of constructing the second phase of its third business park, Alta Vista. This 256 acre site sits on I-70 in Washington County at interchange 32B. All companies located in the park pay no state or local taxes until 2011. The first section of this mixed-use business park opened in the Fall of 2002. Alta Vista offers level shovel-ready lots that are serviced by underground utilities and a state of the art technology system.

Description: Alta Vista is zoned light industrial and contains 256 acres of flat and gently rolling land. Each parcel is shovel-ready with on-site access to the transportation and utility system.   Parcels range in size from 3 to 120 acres.

Keystone Opportunity Zone - KOZ designation means full tax abatement through 2010 of all local and state taxes. This tax abatement program waives: Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock & Foreign Franchise Tax, and Sales and Use Tax on purchases used or consumed within the KOZ site. It also means local government has waived Real Estate Tax, Business Gross Receipts or Mercantile Tax, Business Privilege or Occupancy Tax and Earned Income Net Profits Tax.
